Meet our team
The Carlton Park committee meets regularly to ensure the smooth running of the Club.
Meetings are generally held on the first Thursday of the month at the clubhouse.
Craig has been a member of Carlton Park for 20 years. As an avid surf boat rower, he has enjoyed many fulfilling seasons in the surf and always appreciated the sense of camaraderie that Carlton Park is well known for. The oars have been set aside for the moment and he is enjoying watching his own two sons progress through the Nipper movement.
Boyd initially joined the club when his kids wanted to do Nippers and he has now been involved for more than 20 years. He has trained and assessed many of our training squads, is regularly found on patrol, rows a boat occasionally in a masters crew and is also one of the first to put his hand up to provide water safety at a wide range of events. Boyd has been involved at committee level for more than 15 years and has become a valued mentor for new committee members.

Simon has been a lifesaver for over 20 years, the last ten at Carlton Park. Initially a passionate surf boat rower, these days he has a larger role in lifesaving as a member of the state Lifesaving Executive, a club Patrol Captain and as a dad who has the pleasure of patrolling with his two daughters Olivia and Lucy.

Josh joined the Carlton Park Surf Club in 2015 because he wanted to do more in his local community. Right away he put his hand up to be a part of the committee and has since joined a newly formed surf boat rowing crew. His experience so far has been both enjoyable and rewarding, and he’s excited for his son to start Nippers in the future to embrace the Surf Club culture.
